In 2023, 43 families spent regular mornings with us in nature's classroom 🌻

In 2024, we say goodbye to TinyOutdoors, to find new ways to make impact!

We are hopeful that each class planted a seed for a lifetime of curiosity and connection with your children.

We're so thankful for the support of all the parents and educators  who saw value in our classes!

We're moving on to new things, and are grateful to have been given the chance to do this work together with you.

Play is nature's way of building the fundamentals of physical, social and emotional growth. As children grow, they are inspired to do different kinds of play.

We support our children's development best when we know what kind of play our child needs. But it can be hard when you have no roadmap!

That's why our Montessori-inspired developmental play classes help you:

  • Know what developmental signs to look out for

  • Find creative ways to meet these developmental needs

  • Enjoy & be inspired to learn in the home and outside

Why developmental play?

If you're...

  • Feeling lost about how you can support your baby's & toddler's development.

  • Searching for enriching activities for your helper or parents to attend together with your child.

  • Looking for a playdate that engages both you & your child.

  • Curious about how to help your child grow holistically, beyond the academic curricula of preschools.

Why ages 0-3?

The first 3 years are critical for a child's brain development.

The environment matters!  Sensory pathways such as hearing, language, and higher cognitive function all peak by the first 3 years of life.

You matter! Research & clinical experience demonstrate that a child's earliest relationships & experiences with caregivers dramatically influences brain development, social-emotional and cognitive skills, and future health and success in school and life.

Our interactive adult & child sessions help you maximise your child's potential during this critical time.

Learn about what matters in development

Our group grows with your child, focusing on what research tells us is crucial to development. Your part is simple but most important: quality interaction with your child!

Stage-based groups

We have 3 group levels designed to meet the needs of children at various stages of development in their infancy & toddler years.

Pre-crawlers

From newborns to babies still learning to roll, to babies who have just begun to sit, our pre-crawlers program exposes your child to the magic of the sensory universe and sets the foundations for curiosity & focus.

Crawlers

A child beginning to or mastering crawling may move slow, but boy they sure think fast! Our crawlers program supports children's gross & fine motor development and nurture their ability to take smart risks for safe exploration.

Walkers

Toddlers beginning to walk have so much they want to do, and also so many big feelings about it! Our walker program plants the seeds for raising productive, respectful and responsible little human beings who care for their own bodies, for others, and also the environment around them.
